Quality Assurance Manager
We are conducting a search for our client, a global leader in dairy products, for Manager Quality Assurance/Dairy located in Pennsylvania and a position in Missouri. This position supports a manufacturing site and is responsible for a team of up to 25 people. The Manager Quality Assurance/ Dairy provides training and coaching for his/ her direct reports and is responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements.
Key
Responsibilities:
oMonitor processes and products to keep site in compliance with customer requirements, quality, food safety and service.
oEnsures adherence to company and government requirements and guidelines.
oEvaluates metric performance and audits processes to ensure food safety,
oDrives Process Excellence and holds direct reports accountable for safety.
Education and Experience Required:
oBS degree in Food Science or related field.
oMinimum 3 years experience in a QA role.
oKnowledge of OSHA, USDA, EPA, EEOC, etc.
oProcess improvement through the use of lean tools and problem solving methods.
oThree years experience as a Quality Manager in a dairy manufacturing facility.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
