The Director of Information Technology will provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the GVMH facility's Information Technology (IT) program. The Director of IT will ensure business and IT alignment and lead the facility in planning and implementing the information systems to support both distributed and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve efficient and cost-effective organization-wide IT operations.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of GVMH. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behaviors consistent with our Core Values and our Behavior Standards.
o Lead and be accountable for all local IT service delivery
o Provide strategic and tactical alignment planning, development, evaluation, and
coordination of the iinformation and technology systems for the facility to accomplish
GVMH IT goals and to meet local IT needs, in accordance with GVMH IT strategy,
standards and governance processes
o Develop facility-specific IT operations policies and approaches for computing and
information technology
o Stay informed about and communicates the future direction of GVMH-standard systems
o Educate local leadership how the strategic IT direction will impact the facility, and how
future and current systems can best be optimized for the facility's benefit
o Facilitate communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology
resources within the facility
o Oversees the facility's computer operations of GVMH Management Information Systems,
including local area networks, wide area networks and storage area networks
o Serves as the GVMH HIPAA Security Officer, participate in the oversight, training and
enforcement of system-wide and local data security policies
o Initiates, oversee and be accountable for IT project management at the facility level
o Develop and maintain the approved annual operations and capital budgets for the facility IT
systems
o Coordinate with various GVMH teams to ensure that all information systems and networks
perate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory
agencies, and legal requirements, including HIPAA
o Ensure that all initiatives in the facility IT portfolio have clear business goals and success
metrics where appropriate
o Coordinate with IT infrastructure support teams to maintain a stable environment, including
network, desktops, telecommunications and servers
o Coordinate the resolution of complex problems related to facility clinical and business
applications and workflows
o Actively participates in the implementation and planning of facility IT projects
o Work collaboratively with Biomedical Engineering staff as a resource for evaluation of
clinical equipment purchases as it pertains to network use, power sources, compatibility
with existing hardware and software, and adherence to GVMH data security policies
o Oversee relationships between GVMH facility IT resources and external entities (e.g.
government, vendors, researchers, and other healthcare organizations) as needed
o Interact extensively with and builds strong relationships with vendors, facility leadership,
and other GVMH IT leaders and personnel
oSubmits, documents and tracks local IT projects and reports status of those projects to
various committees
o Proactively lead IT tactical planning related to facility initiatives, in order to more efficiently
utilize available IT resources
o Develop, lead, and coaches direct and/or indirect reports
o Provide management reporting as required
o Perform other duties as requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
